Rainbows End Theme Park
This Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Activity is New Zealand's premier theme park and open daily from 10.00am (closed Christmas Day).

Rainbows End Theme Park is located only 7km's from Airport Garden Inn Hotel, making it a popular place for our family guests to visit, along with our more mature hotel guests that are young at heart!

Rainbows End is a fun way to spend the day in Auckland! Enjoy the multitude of park rides, including the ever-popular Enchanted Forest Log Flume, Fearfall and rollercoaster rides. Other top attractions include the C180, where guests stand inside a huge dome in front of a screen and watch a 12 minute movie with 180 degree views, the bumper boats, motion master and the pirate ship. A great selection of food and beverages is also available.

Villa Maria Winery
Opened in February 2005, this is the largest of the Villa Maria Estate wineries in New Zealand. The Auckland Winery and Vineyard Park is located in Mangere and is close to Auckland Airport and Airport Garden Inn Hotel!

The 40-hectare property is planted in Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Merlot grapes, while landscape planning enhances the established groves of exotic and native trees, creating a superb parkland around the winery.

The Cellar Shop is open 7 days, from 9.00am - 6.00pm during weekdays and 10.00am - 5.00pm during weekends. The Cellar Shop is where you can buy bottles of award winning Villa Maria wines, enjoy wine tastings, delicious platters and winery tours. Tours depart daily at 11.00am and 3.00pm.

Auckland Museum
Considered one of the finest museums in New Zealand, the Auckland War Memorial Museum tells the story of New Zealand, including New Zealand flora and fauna, war history and breath-taking collection of Maori and Pacific treasures.

The museum is only 12km's from Airport Garden Inn Hotel and provides international and New Zealand hotel guests with a unique opportunity to understand the culture and history of New Zealand past.
